Children who are late should report to the School Office
Under no circumstances will children be allowed to leave the premises other than at lunch time or at the end of the day without an adult to accompany them.
ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance and punctuality are essentials to a successful adult career. These habits should be developed from the first days at school. Arriving late can cause distress and is disruptive for the rest of the class. Please note that a late mark is given if your child enters the school through the front door. The Local Authority monitors lateness.
SICKNESS
If your child is unable to attend school a phone call early in the morning is required. If your child is absent and we are not informed then this will recorded as an unauthorised absence. Any unavoidable absences should be explained by a note stating the reason for the absence upon your child's return to school.
FAMILY HOLIDAYS
Please try to arrange family holidays outside term time. It is only possible to consider authorising 10 days holiday and any additional time will be classified as unauthorised and will be recorded as such on your child's records.
The Governors do not authorise any absences for holidays in Years 2 and 6, nor do they authorise absences for children on the special needs register.
Please note that our attendance is monitored by the Local Authority and the Government.
