Warren Primary School - Working in Partnership for Success

Health and Safety

Health & Safety

We are pleased to assure you that our School is a smoke free zone. We ask you to respect this decision by refraining from smoking anywhere in the School grounds.

We would also request that you do not bring your dog into the grounds.

We do not allow cars in the School grounds.  If you live in Chafford Hundred then we believe your child should be encouraged to walk to school. If you live further afield then we respectfully ask you to use Sainsbury' car park rather than block the traffic on Gilbert Road.

If you need to come into School at any time please use the main entrance.

We must ask you to turn off your mobile phones when in school as they interfere with hearing aids.

Emergency Contacts

You will appreciate the importance of our being able to contact you quickly in the case of an emergency. We therefore ask you to complete and return the Emergency Contact Form issued each September. Could you please remember to notify us of any changes which occur during the year?

Child Protection

It is our duty and responsibility to care for all our pupils. Their well-being is always uppermost in our minds.

On very rare occasions it may be necessry to voice our concerns to other agencies, for example Social Services, prior to consulting with you, the parents.

The procedures we follow are laid down by the Southend, Essex and Thurrock Multi-Agency Committee.

Please be assured that this will only happen where abuse is suspected and our concerns will be discussed with you at the earliest possible moment.
